Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics and Research Integrity
IKAD-ECCR is committed to rigorous, transparent, fair, and accountable scholarly publishing. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal, methodological quality, ethical integrity, and the strength of the evidence or argument.
Editorial independence
The publisher respects the independence of editorial decision-making. Commercial, institutional, organisational, or personal interests must not determine acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.
Originality and integrity
Authors must submit original work and accurately represent methods, data, analyses, sources, and findings. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, manipulated evidence, inappropriate image manipulation, citation manipulation, and undisclosed redundant or duplicate publication are unacceptable.
Authorship
Authorship must be limited to persons who have made substantial scholarly contributions and who accept accountability for the work. Gift, guest, honorary, and ghost authorship are not acceptable. Changes to authorship after submission require justification and editorial approval.
Conflicts of interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose relationships or interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence their work or judgement. Editors with a relevant conflict must recuse themselves from the manuscript.
Peer-review integrity
Peer-review materials are confidential. Reviewers must provide independent, evidence-based, respectful assessments and must not exploit unpublished material for personal or professional advantage.
Allegations and misconduct
Concerns regarding plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, authorship disputes, unethical research, manipulated review, or other potential misconduct will be assessed fairly and confidentially. The journal may request explanations, underlying data, ethics documentation, or institutional clarification when necessary.
Corrections and the scholarly record
Where material errors or integrity concerns are confirmed after publication, IKAD-ECCR may publish corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other notices appropriate to the circumstances. The purpose is to preserve the accuracy and reliability of the scholarly record.
No guaranteed acceptance
Payment is not a condition for submission or publication. IKAD-ECCR operates as a Diamond Open Access journal and editorial decisions are independent of financial considerations.
